Ventura and bassist Edwin Moses. Sung in English, Spanish, and Hebrew,
“Even The Sun” bursts with an evocative stream of words and images that
conjures up Beenie Man channeling the poetic spirits of Leonard Cohen
and Bob Dylan. From the North African ragga-rock of “Amapola,” with its
harrowing portrayal of an obsessed love, to the post-biblical dub
meltdown of “Lot’s Wife,” Fosforo's debut effort proves to have been well worth
